My guiding tour is throughout the different museums rooms that gathers the art history over 1000 years which it is a unique experience.

In this tour I cover the most prominent art work of each era starting with the exceptional high level Romanesque mural paint in the world: “Maiestas Domini” painted 900 years ago by an anonymous artist, Taüll’s Master.

I have selected the most renowed artists such as Jaume Huguet, El Greco, Zurbarán, Goya, Velazquez, Fortuny, Mir, Picasso, Miró, Dalí, Rusiñol, Casas, Gargallo… to take you through their artwork. Without forgetting the exclusive furniture sets designed by the well-known architects thus Josep M. Jujol, Puig i Cadafalch and Gaudí himself.

Joan Miró is one of the “most universal Catalan artists”. Painter, sculptor, engraver, ceramicist, was considered one of the greatest representatives of surrealism. We will visit the Foundation, a cultural and artistic Center that he created in 1975, which now has become the reference center of contemporary art in his hometown, Barcelona.
